A thick microfiber towel is a higher-weight reusable surface-care option, not a guaranteed substitute for a low-lint cleanroom wiper. The correct construction depends on the surface, wiping fluid, cleaning method and expected reuse.
Ask whether the selected towel uses polyester or a polyester/polyamide blend, and compare its pile height and GSM with the sample used for approval.
Check how the towel performs for water pickup, light maintenance residue and repeated laundering in the buyer's own process. A thicker towel is not automatically better for every surface.
Record actual size, approved GSM tolerance, fibre blend, edge finish, colour, package quantity and sample reference before a repeat order.
