Cleanroom and semiconductor wiping should be specified by the actual process requirement rather than by a generic 'lint-free' claim. Material, particle performance, edge treatment, size, absorbency, solvent compatibility and packaging all need to be confirmed for the selected product.
Buyer checklist

- Which product test data must the supplier provide?
- What material and edge process are preferred?
- Which solvent or fluid will be used?
- What packaging and clean transfer requirements apply?
